We are currently seeking to recruit a Chief Operating Officer (COO) on behalf of our client. This role is a Senior Leadership position and reports to the Managing Director (MD). This role is responsible for developing and driving the Company’s business operations, distribution, and customer care strategy. Leading a multi-disciplinary team of professionals, the successful candidate will develop and manage a customer operations organisation that provides best service to our Customers.

What else it involves:

Define and implement the Products Distribution and customer service strategy. Implement service targets that drive improved sales performance. Devise, drive and implement strategic recommendations that lead the organisation to outperform budget targets. Analysis of all costs to ensure the optimal deals are in place. Drive strategy from analysis of operational statistics – KPIs & SLAs. Manage the sales channels to deliver the best service which meets the needs and requirements of the business in sales targets, customer experience and proposition/product promotion.

Customer Operations: Lead the customer operations department, providing direction, focus and motivation on the strategy and key business deliverables. Inspire, develop and manage the billing and collections department to deliver a high performing team that is supported by well thought out process and procedures. Develop and manage Fraud and Security function to support the distribution channels, while safe guarding the assets of the business.

The skills we’re looking for the Chief Operations Officer role you will be an experienced manager with a demonstrated track record of: Building, developing and maintaining effective and co-operative strategic relationships. Engaging with key influencers to leverage experience and to create opportunities. Change management.
Cross functional collaboration.

Developing and improving customer experiences in collaboration with internal and external partners. Experience in a leadership/managerial role, setting a vision and getting buy-in from all levels of an organisation. Exceptional interpersonal, networking, negotiation, influencing and communication skills. The ability to develop and motivate a high performance team. Passion to drive operational excellence, leading transformation to bring best in class business operations. Appreciation of the customer, their needs and how to meet them creatively. Possess a clear understanding of profitability and the management of P&L, OpEx and strategic targets. Ability to influence and shape the medium and longer-term strategy of the business. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to convert strategy into operational execution.

Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
